About the Centrepoint card

Centrepoint is a Middle Eastern department-store format from the Landmark Group that gathers several of the group's stores under one roof: Babyshop for children's goods, Splash and Max for clothing, Shoemart for footwear and accessories, and Lifestyle for homeware. A store of this kind covers a number of categories at once: everyday and occasion wear for adults and children, shoes, bags, lingerie, newborn essentials, toys, cosmetics and fragrance, textiles and small items for the home. The chain operates in the Gulf states and Egypt, and it has an online storefront and a mobile app. A Centrepoint gift card serves as a means of payment in the chain's stores and on the online storefront of the country it was issued for. Its value is deducted from the bill, and if the purchase comes to more than that, the difference is covered by an ordinary payment.

How to redeem the card

  1. Get the card code and keep it somewhere safe — it is the equivalent of money towards a purchase.
  2. Pick out your items in a Centrepoint store, or build a basket in the app or on the chain's online storefront in the country the card was issued for.
  3. At the till, give the code to the cashier; when paying online, enter it in the gift card field at the payment step.
  4. Check that the card's value has been deducted from the total, and pay any remaining balance by bank card or in cash if needed.
  5. Keep the code and the receipt until any exchange or return has been settled.

FAQ

Which stores inside Centrepoint accept the card?

The card is intended for the department store's own range — that is, the clothing, footwear, children's and homeware departments that make up the Centrepoint format. Whether it is accepted in standalone stores of the group's other chains depends on the rules of each market, so check at the till.

Can the card be used to pay for an order in the mobile app?

If the chain's app is available in your country, the gift card is applied at the payment step just as it is on the website: you enter the code in a separate field and the amount reduces the order total.

Will a card issued for another country work?

No. Cards are issued in the currencies of specific markets — Bahraini dinars, Egyptian pounds, Omani and Qatari rials, Saudi riyals — and are accepted in stores in the same country.
