REDTAG is a chain of affordable fashion and homeware stores across the Gulf countries. The format is close to a family department store: women's, men's and children's clothing, shoes, bags and accessories, underwear, along with home textiles, tableware, kitchen goods and small interior pieces, all under one roof. The stores are built around regular family shopping in the lower price range, so a gift card covers both a seasonal wardrobe refresh and everyday household needs. The card pays for purchases in the chain's retail stores and, in markets with an online shop, for online orders as well. Amounts are deducted from the card balance; on a more expensive purchase, the difference is paid by the usual means. Cards are issued in the currency of a specific country — Kuwaiti dinars, Omani rials, Qatari riyals or Saudi riyals — and accepted in stores in the corresponding market.
How to redeem the card
- Identify the card's country of issue from its currency — it needs to be used in stores in that same market.
- At the till, say you are paying with a gift card and hand the card or code to the member of staff.
- For an online order, enter the card number and security code in the gift card field at the payment step.
- Pay the difference by another method if the purchase exceeds the card's value.
- Keep the card if a balance remains — it can be used on your next purchase in the chain.
