HEMA is a Dutch general merchandise chain known for the plain design of its own-brand products and its straightforward pricing. Its stores operate in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Luxembourg and several other countries, including outlets opened by partners outside Europe. The range is broad and everyday: tableware and kitchen tools, home textiles, stationery and craft supplies, underwear, socks, children's and basic adult clothing, cosmetics and personal care products, newborn items, plus bakery goods and a small food section in larger stores. Photo services are a separate line — photo prints, photo books and keepsakes made from your own images. A gift card pays for purchases in the chain's stores and in the online shop of the country the card was issued for.
