McDonald's gift cards by country

McDonald's is an international quick-service restaurant chain. Menus vary from country to country, but the core is familiar everywhere: burgers, fries, chicken items, breakfasts, desserts and drinks, plus combo meals and kids' meals. Orders can be placed at the counter, at a self-service kiosk in the dining area, at the drive-through window, or through the chain's app for pickup and delivery. A gift card works as prepaid payment in the chain's restaurants within its own country, covering an order in full or in part. Cards are issued in the currencies of several countries — Brazil, Denmark, the eurozone countries, Guatemala, Norway, South Korea and Sweden — and each one is meant for restaurants in the country where it was issued, since the chain operates under its own rules and with its own menu in each market.
