MUJI (Mujirushi Ryohin, "quality goods without a brand") is a Japanese retail chain known for minimalist design, neutral colours and the absence of logos on its products. The range is broad and closer to a general store format: basic cotton and wool clothing and underwear, home textiles, bedding, tableware and kitchenware, storage systems and organisers, furniture, stationery and notebooks, luggage and travel accessories, skincare, aroma diffusers and essential oils, along with snacks, tea and ready-made cooking mixes. In some cities, stores also house a Café&Meal MUJI. A gift card is used to pay for purchases in the chain's stores and, depending on the market, in the local online store.
