TJX is an American retail company that works on an off-price model: branded goods are sold below usual retail prices, and the range changes constantly as new consignments arrive. The group runs several store chains, among them T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods and Sierra in the United States, along with Winners, HomeSense and Marshalls in Canada. Categories include women's, men's and children's clothing, footwear, bags and accessories, beauty products, and home goods — textiles, tableware, décor and furniture — while some chains also carry outdoor wear. A gift card pays for purchases at the group's stores: a card bought for the United States works in the American chains, a Canadian one in the Canadian chains. A card is usually accepted across several of the group's chains within the same country.
