About the Uber card
Uber is an international platform for booking rides and deliveries. The app is used to call a car with a driver, from budget fares through to roomier and premium classes, and in some cities it also offers fixed-route rides and scooter and bike rentals. The second major arm is Uber Eats: restaurant delivery and, in certain countries, groceries and store goods as well. Payment goes through the app, with no cash handed to the driver or courier. How to redeem the card
- Install the Uber app and sign in to an account registered in the country the card was issued for.
- Open the wallet or payment methods section in the profile menu.
- Choose the option to add a gift card or promo code and enter the code.
- Check that the gift card balance has appeared in your wallet.
- When ordering a ride or a delivery, select this balance as the payment method — it will be applied automatically.

Does the balance work for both rides and food delivery?
In most countries the Uber and Uber Eats account is shared, so an added balance is spent across both. In some regions the cards are issued separately — check the description of the specific denomination before buying.
What happens if a ride costs more than the remaining balance?
The system applies whatever is left on the gift card and charges the difference to the primary payment method, the bank card linked to the account. Nothing extra is required from you.
Can the card be used on a trip abroad?
The balance is tied to the country and currency the card was issued in, so it is usually unavailable on trips outside that region. Plan to use it in the country the card was bought for.
Does the card need to be activated in advance?
The code can be added to the account as soon as it arrives — the funds will simply wait on the balance. That is more convenient: there is no need to enter the code in a hurry at the next order.
