FAQ
Do I need a bank card when picking up the vehicle?
As a rule, yes: rental companies place a deposit hold on the driver's card, and a gift card cannot be used for that. Deposit requirements are stated by the specific company in the booking terms.
Does the card value cover insurance and extra equipment?
Extended insurance, a child seat, a second driver and navigation are usually paid for separately. If they are added to the booking in advance, their cost may be deducted from the card balance.
Can someone other than the card recipient rent the car?
The rental agreement is signed with the driver whose documents are presented at the desk. You can pay for a booking on someone else's behalf, as long as their details are entered during checkout.
What happens if the booking is canceled?
Refunds depend on the rate you choose: with flexible rates the funds are usually returned to the card balance, with non-refundable rates they are not. Cancellation terms are shown at the booking step.
