About the Uber Eats card
Uber Eats is a food and goods delivery service that is part of the Uber ecosystem. Through the app or the website you order prepared meals from restaurants and cafés, and in many cities also groceries, everyday goods and drinks; some venues support pickup. A gift card tops up the Uber account balance and is spent at checkout: the amount is taken off the order total, and the remainder is covered by a linked bank card or another payment method. In a number of countries the account balance is shared between delivery and Uber rides, but which services are supported depends on the market. Cards are issued in the currency of a specific country — Australian and Canadian dollars, euros, yen, US dollars — and should be added to an account in the same region, otherwise the code won't be accepted.
How to redeem the card

- Check that the account balance has increased by the card's value.

The balance is applied to the order total, which means it also covers the delivery cost and the fees included in it. Whether you can pay a courier tip from the balance depends on the country and the app version.
Can I add several cards to one account?
Yes, the amounts add up on a single balance and are spent as you place orders, until the funds run out.
What if the card currency doesn't match the account's country?
The code will most likely be rejected: cards are tied to the market they were issued for. Before buying, check the recipient's account country against the currency of the denomination.
Does the balance work for Uber rides?
