No. The card works only with retailers that belong to the Fashioncheque partner network in a given country. The list of partners is updated from time to time, so it is best checked before a trip to the shop.
What happens to the part of the value that is not spent?
When a purchase comes to less than the card's value, the remainder is usually kept on the card and can be used at the next payment. The terms for partial redemption are set by the partner.
Can the card be used in another country?
The card is meant for the network and the currency of the country it was issued in. Partners in the Netherlands, the Nordic countries and Switzerland differ, so the card is worth choosing for the country where it will be spent.
How is a return handled for an item paid for with the card?
