Are there items that cannot be paid for from the balance?
The balance usually covers most of the catalog, but certain service charges — an expedited delivery fee or a paid subscription, for example — are handled separately in some regions. The final breakdown is always shown on the payment screen before you confirm.
Where does the money go if an order is canceled or returned?
An amount paid from the account balance is normally refunded back to it and stays available for future orders. A refund to a bank card applies only to the portion that was paid with that card.
Can the card be passed on to someone else?
Before activation the code is not linked to any profile, so it can be given as a gift. Once entered, the balance belongs to that account and can no longer be moved to another one.
What if the card's currency does not match my account's currency?
The code is intended for the regional storefront in its own currency. If they do not match, the system generally will not accept it — in that case place the order in the storefront the card was issued for.
