About the Riot Access card
Riot Access is a Riot Games payment code that adds funds to a game account balance. That balance is spent across the studio's titles: League of Legends, VALORANT, Teamfight Tactics, League of Legends: Wild Rift and Legends of Runeterra. Inside each game the balance is converted into that game's own currency — RP in League of Legends, for example — and the currency then buys skins, champions and agents, battle passes, item bundles and seasonal content. Riot Access is not tied to a particular device: the code tops up the account rather than a single client, so anything bought on PC is also available on other supported platforms under the same account. The code is issued for a specific region and currency, and that is the key constraint when choosing a denomination.
How to redeem the card
- Sign in to the Riot Games account you want the funds credited to.
- Open the balance top-up section — either in the game client or in the account settings on the studio's website.
- Choose the Riot Access code as the top-up method and enter the code without spaces.
- Confirm the top-up and check that the account balance has increased by the card's value.
- Go to the store of the game you want and exchange the balance for that game's in-game currency.

What happens if the code's region does not match the account's region?
The code will not be credited. Riot Access is tied to the region and currency it was issued for, so the denomination has to match the region the account is registered in.
Can the balance be split across several Riot games?
Yes. The account balance is shared, and it can be converted piece by piece into the currencies of different studio titles — spending part of it in League of Legends and part in VALORANT, for instance.
Can the funds be transferred to another player?
No. Once credited, the balance stays with the account; it cannot be withdrawn or moved to someone else's profile. Only the unused code itself can be passed on.
Do I need a bank card for purchases after topping up?
No, purchases in the game store are paid from the credited balance. A payment method is only needed if the purchase costs more than the balance available.
