About the GrabExpress card
GrabExpress is the courier delivery service inside the Grab app, a major technology platform in Southeast Asia. Grab operates in Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and neighboring countries, bringing rides, food delivery and parcel delivery together in a single app. GrabExpress handles parcels specifically: documents, small loads, purchases from shops — a courier collects the item at one address and takes it to another, usually within the same city. A gift card tops up the payment balance in the Grab app, and those funds pay for delivery orders. Cards are issued in the currencies of particular countries — Singapore dollars, Thai baht, Vietnamese dong — and the balance is tied to the regional version of the service, so the card is chosen to match the country where the recipient is.
How to redeem the card
- Install the Grab app and sign in to an account registered in the relevant country.
- Open the wallet or payments section in your profile.
- Choose top-up by gift card code and enter the code.
- Check that the balance has increased by the value of the card.
- Place a GrabExpress delivery order and select the app balance at the payment step.

No. Grab accounts and balances are tied to a region, and the card's currency has to match the currency of the country where the recipient's account is registered.
Can the balance be spent on rides and food delivery?
The in-app wallet is usually shared across Grab services, but the set of available payment methods differs by country. You can check this in the app itself, at the payment selection step.
What is needed to register with Grab?
An account is created using a phone number confirmed by code. Without a working number in a country where the service operates, signing in and topping up the balance is not possible.
