About the Almosafer card
Almosafer is a travel service from Saudi Arabia, part of the Seera group. Its website and app are used to book flights, hotels and apartments, ready-made flight-plus-stay packages, and religious travel — umrah, along with accommodation in Mecca and Medina. The catalogue covers destinations within the Gulf states as well as long-haul routes; the interface and support work in Arabic and English. The gift card is used as a means of payment when a booking is made: the amount comes off the face value, and the rest of the cost is covered by a bank card or another available method. Face values are issued in the currencies of the region — SAR, AED, QAR, KWD, BHD and OMR — and the card's currency must match the currency the order is placed in.
How to redeem the card

- Choose a flight, hotel or package and go to checkout.
- At the payment step, select the gift card or voucher option and enter the code.

Does the trip have to be booked in my own name?
No: the account is there for payment and access to the booking, while passengers or guests are entered separately. Names in a booking must match the documents people will travel on, and corrections after a ticket is issued depend on the carrier's rules.
What happens to the payment if a booking is cancelled or changed?
The terms are set by the service provider — the airline or the hotel — not by the card. A refund may not be available on non-refundable fares, and where money is returned it usually goes back the same way the payment came in.
Will a card in dirhams work for an order in riyals?
No, the card's currency and the checkout currency have to match. The order currency is normally set by the country selected on the site, so switch it before you go to payment, otherwise the code will not apply.
Can several cards be used for one booking?
That depends on the payment form in the current version of the service: sometimes the code field accepts only one value. If you have more than one card, it makes sense to split the trip into separate bookings — paying for the flight and the hotel one after the other, for example.
